Accommodations

The innovative Gozzard 36 open plan is a refreshing departure from the traditional sailing yacht layout. Instead of dividing the interior into 6′ sections, Ted Gozzard “imagineered” a uniquely functional and flexible plan.  It must be seen to be appreciated.  Lazy Jacks sleeps six in three separate cabins.

The main salon doubles as the forward stateroom, featuring port and starboard V-shaped settees that convert into a large island berth. During the day, it functions as a spacious sitting area; at night, it transforms into a private owner’s cabin. Storage includes a large athwartship hanging locker, numerous drawers, and compartments behind the settees. A folding bulkhead provides privacy when needed, and a double-hinged locker door offers either access to storage or closes off the forward cabin.

Ventilation
  • Two hatches and ten opening ports provide excellent airflow.
Galley

The L-shaped galley is to port and has a large, deep single stainless steel sink with Corian counters. Opposite the galley is a large dinette that seats four. It converts to an additional double berth. This table also functions as a large navigation station.  There is built-in storage for charts, books, and navigational tools.
