Dream On features numerous features that would be a plus for any bluewater cruiser. At the same time, she offers creature comforts that give her an edge for coastal or bay cruising.
Accommodations
The Gozzard 37 interior is legendary for the beautiful cherry finish, exquisite joinery and absolutely innovative design.
Dream On’s “B” interior is ideally suited to the needs of a cruising couple and features the unique open V settee forward. This arrangement naturally provides comfortable relaxed seating with coffee table but can be easily converted in less than a minute to a full dining table or a private stateroom with an island double berth. The 6 person table top is carefully stored behind a seat back and securely mounts to the base created by opening coffee table. The seat bottoms hinge out over the closed coffee table to from an queen size island berth. By folding panels and doors then close the entire forward cabin off for conversion into a sleeping cabin.
A large locker just aft of the port side settee provides abundant storage for clothes, books, or extra provisions. Discrete piano hinges on the locker door and the midships bulkhead allow for easy transformation of the forward salon into a private stateroom.
Unlike the “A” model, the “B” uses a larger two place dinette combination nav station located on the port side and has massive galley with side by side fridge/freezer and more storage than most 40 footers. The 612 amp hour batteries are accessed under the sink, low and on the centerline, they actually increase overall stability.
On the port side of the companionway is the head complete with shower and features convenient access to the engine compartment behind the companionway steps and the forward lazarette. Aft on the starboard side is the aft cabin with king size berth and additional lockers for clothes.
Galley
The C-shaped galley provides safety underway and is located to starboard. Corian countertops, two-burner propane gimballed stove with oven, customized frig/freezer with the freezer having been enlarged and each having their own Novacool system. Built-in microwave, stainless steel sink with Seagull water filter and plenty of innovative storage throughout the galley. There is a BBQ grill mounted on the aft rail with integrated LPG system.
