Calypso has the innovative Gozzard 44 interior incorporating the convertible forward dinette area with the small table fixed and the large dining table stowed. These settees easily swing together to make a walk around queen berth with privacy provided via the hinged door and lift-able bulkhead section. Calypso is unique in that she has a custom interior with 2″ of additional headroom.
Aft to port is a designated deep freezer compartment and then head with separate shower stall. Next is the aft stateroom with a king-size berth, hanging lockers, and drawers. New ultra-leather upholstery was installed in 2006.
To starboard is the small settee then a huge U-shaped galley with 10 cubic ft 2 section refrigerator (DC5000 compressor and water pump electric motor in 2007), 3 burner gimbaled Force 10 stove, double SS sink, and microwave. Aft of this is the nav station with a large interior storage area behind with cabinetry and separate cockpit lazarette storage aft.
Her brightwood was finished in Awlwood by Gozzard Yachts in 2021. Dodger, bimini & center section with Eisenglass windshield 2007 all professionally cleaned in fall of 2021. The Eisenglass is rarely used and in like-new condition.
1200 Amp Hour house battery bank replace new in 2023. Bow auxiliary fuel tank replaced new in 2023.
Calypso has been sailed in fresh water since 2007.
