Custom Upgrades

Besides developing our own ideas and solutions, Gozzard Yachts continually monitors the recreational marine industry for design innovations, systems upgrades and new products that enhance the cruising and live-aboard experience of sailing enthusiasts. We strive to make these advancements “retrofittable” to older Gozzard yachts.

We offer expert services in repairing, repainting, refurbishing and refinishing wood trim and soles, fiberglass and other composites. We fabricate aluminum and other metal components. We offer troubleshooting, repair and installation of nearly every system on any sailboat make and model from Melges 24 one-design sportboats to, of course, Gozzard yachts. Our expertise in these areas has earned us “Best-in-Class” acclaim from our boating clientele. “All Gozzards go home again,” is axiomatic among the many Gozzard owners who won’t trust anyone but Gozzard to do work on their boat. The following examples include some of the more sought-after projects underway or recently completed at the Gozzard Yachts shipbuilding facility in Goderich, Ontario.
